    Congratulations Reibert!

You've got a nice Soviet bayo made in Izhevsk. There is an original Soviet button, an original brown wrist strap and East German grips. I suppose that could be a result of NVA arsenal refurbishment.

I have a similar bayo in my collection.

Believe me when I got my bayo I was really surprised to find an Izhevsk stamp on it (arrow in triangle). The arrow in triangle can be found on all Izhevsk made weapons (AK series, Dragunov SVD63, bayonets etc.).

Pls check the links below and find two photos with original Russian AKM type 2 and AK74/100 bayonets. Those bayos have Izhevsk stamps as well.

That's what you were waiting for, right?

BTW the scabbards are made in East Germany in both cases.
I know it for sure regarding my own Russian-German bayo's scabbard and I'm almost sure about Reibert's scabbard.
