    Default socket bayonet id please

good morning, I wonder if anyone can help me by identifying this socket bayonet. The blade length is 17.5 inches and the inner diameter at the forward end is 3/4 of an inch. The blade is marked PJ but nothing else. There is a small pin to the lower right hand side plus the bayonet number. There appears to be a B and another indistinct letter on the bit between the body and the blade - thats probably not the correct technical term but it is nevertheless surprisingly accurate! The underside of the blade is more deeply fullered than, say, a MH type.

    any thoughts?

    many thanks, Dave

Maker could be 'P.J. Malherbe & Co.' in Belgium. About 30000 of their M-1851 rifles were imported to the US during the Civil War.
