Strange modified K98 bayo ??

Has anyone ever seen this kind of mod ?
Is there a history to it ?

Nothing strange here - there is a lot of those bayos in the market.

German k98 bayo was added norwegian adapter to fit the bayo to US-donated Garand rifle. Adapter is added also to scabbard to fix it with US-donated alice-type webbing belt.

Generally - there was a huge surplus of different WH equipment in Norwegia after the german capitulation.

After searching the internet for Norwegian K98 bayo's I see that there is others out there.... 5000 should have been made.
I just havn't seen them before. There isn't many of those in Denmark.
