    Default Turkish Bayonet......

I picked this up today at a militaria fair for AU$50. I have been relaibly told it is a turkish bayonet.

I would just like to see what other forum members think. The only markings are as shown on the top of the scabbard and these seem to match some very faint markings on the handle.

    Ta very much!

Thanks for your reply. What time period were these issued? Are they readily available? Are they collectible?

    Thanks Zwerge,

I saw it at a fair for 50 aussie dollars, I kinda knew it wasnt German, but it was unusual enough that I liked the look of it and decided to grab it!
