It's a commercial blade - likely from the 70's. Looks like it's trying
to be a combination of the 'Jet Pilot's' knife, or a survival
type made by Garcia.........

Did some research and found this knife in Homer Brett's book "The Militry Knife and Bayonet" page 370. It is listed as a "Thailand Military Knife". Came in 8 inch and 4 inch models.
There you go. I don't have Homer Brett's book handy.
Looks like a 'junk knife' you'd find at a pawn shop
for $10. Any markings.........?

Really heavy well built knife
Typifies a military organizations need for an inexpensive
but rugged, locally made fighting/utility knife - although
the sawback may be more for aesthetics.........
