This was part of my Grandpa's WWII collection which is mostly Japanese items. Im not sure about this though. It does not seem to have any identifying marks on it. It is 11.5 inches long and seems to have a leather wrapped handle. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It means it was made in a theater of war, though in this case that appears to be in the US.
