    Default Unknown mauser bayonet??

Hello I have a bayonet which I was given to add to my collection by a very kind customer.

I'm looking to do some research but I'm stuck i was told it fits a mauser rifle, so I expected to see german markings but on inspection I can't recognize what language it is? I'm new to collecting so I need to expand my knowledge.

I did just find this looks exactly the same

The guy who gave it to me said he thought was Japanese made for the Germans but the markings to me didn't look Japanese but in no expert
