Article about: Given to me recently as a gift. A US 1917 Eddystone Bayonet with original scabbard. Stamped with the 1917 over the Remington (circle) manufacturer's mark. Along with the U.S. ordanance logo

GK is possibly Gratton & Knight Company - makers of leather equipment for the US forces.
Not sure on the other one.

Yes. Forgot to say that the scabbard is leather made, rather than fibreglass.

The other marking is probably a US Government inspector's mark.
Is it perhaps UVK ? - as seen on this bayonet.
