Excellent collection of knives, Ralph - and a great display.
Some real beauties in there ! I instantly recognised
the Ek Commando and Mikov.........

I know, what you mean.
I would prefer an original.
The modern ones just dont compare.
rbminis - I never understood the intense FLAK that is hurled towards Cold Steel.
They make some nice knives, that work.
Some I like more than others.
I wish, I had kept my CarbonV SRK, but I was badgered into trading it for an EK.
I see you have an EK too - Ive always had a soft spot for the EKs. They are simple and seem very businesslike.
Is that a CS Trailmaster or Recon Scout partly seen in pic number two?
I like both far better than some of their newer Bowie offerings i.e the Natchez.
I really like Cold Steel knives, but I only have one.........!

Steve.

Mikov - not too common. My Ek is a M5 Bowie - but it's double edged
with micarta grip panels.
I also just noticed a horse head puukko, and a US M3
with early leather sheath.........!

Steve.
Scout,
I still like some of the newer Cold Steel products. About the only ones I wouldn't mind still getting are maybe the Military Classic or the Tai Pan.
The bowie in the photo is the Carbon V Trailmaster.

Well I no longer feel like I have to many knives ! After seeing your collections ! Great displays , they put knife stores to shame . I kinda lost some respect for SOG now that you can buy them at Canadian Tire . I also had a Cold Steel folding tanto but lost it . Maybe it will turn up in a sofa sometime . Great stuff , and thanks for showing .

Steve,
There are really quite a few different makers and models in there if you look closely. I estimate my collection of edged weapons, including the ones that I make, at aproximately 700, give or take.
Here is a photo of both EK's and two Gerbers.

Like this one, Chris.........?

Steve.
Lol - I can see you have quite a few Ralph, and I think I must have
about 1/3rd of that. Love those two Ek knives !
Here's my Mikov - it is wicked sharp ! They are rather
cheaply constructed, but very robust.........

Steve.
