    Thanks for the link.
Im tempted, but held back by the same concern as you: The quality issue.
For that low price, one has to wonder.

Further more, Im a huge fan of the vintage ones and prefer them over newly made MIL blades.
Any idea, of how old your miniature bayonet is?

I agree on the new one!
The box makes me think more or less 1930.

So just before the world went to hell in a handbag....and quality out the window.

A very nice item from a time, where even a miniature bayonet was made by a craftsman with pride.

    I quite agree.

There are some highly skilled custom makers out there still.

I have a few one-off knives custom made to my specs and the craftmanship is evident.

Sadly, most have been conditioned to buy quantity over quality and will never experience the joy of holding a truely well made custom item in their hands.

Too bad, when ones perception is formed by for example a cheap knock-off.

This is how ever the price paid (or rather the lack of price) for he emergence of cheap consumer goods.

Is Boos the miniature making forum member or what are you referring to?

Yes, Boos is his real name, beeter known by the name "rbminis" on the forum.
