So looking at the one you posted Reibert and the Danish one Zwerge linked (I cant zoom in) I would say if the frog you got has double stitching on the back you would be correct that it is a South African P1907 frog.

BTW, the belt loop of the frog is pretty "narrow" !

Tried a military leather belt, (width: 4,7cm / 1,85 in., thickness: 4mm / 0,16 in.), it fits barely ...
Is that normal ?

Hello,

such as I wrote to you.

A South African frog for the Bayonet Pattern 1907. Made during the II.WW.
Unfortunately without the typical markings.

The frog was made for the Leather Bandolier Equipment, Pattern 1903.. this is the reason for the smaler dimensions of the belt loop.
