Default ww1 bayonet, need identification help!

Got this from my uncle for christmas, his wife is of Austrian decent and came from her aunts husband. I assume he is german as well but am not 100% sure of this bayonets country of manufacture. overall length is 20.25 inches. Blade is 15.75 inches. bayonet and scabbard both have matching serial numbers 88106. See photos for more info.
    Thanks so much!

As Glenn has said, a 2nd model 1892 Berthier bayonet that had the quillion shortened @1/2" in 1915, making what we collectors call an 1892/15 Berthier bayonet.

thanks so much for the info guys! photos were just taken by my ipad dosent do justice at all. overall in quite good condition blade especially scabbard shows minor rust and so does the metal around grip and locking mech. Blade dosent look polished, scabbard definetly did its job over the last 100 years.
    thanks again,
    Beau

Fits on this-was only used on the short carbines-Berthier long rifles used the same long 'knitting needles' as the Lebel rifles. My poor example of the bayo still has the hook quillon.
