    Default WW1 German Butcher bayo

    Evening gents!
Just got my new Mauser Butcher bayonet, and i'm really happy this is the 1 piece of my renewed bayo collection.
The blade has some sharpening to it that i couldn't see from the original pictures..
But its a light sharpening(i think),and its hardly visible also the blade has some of the original blueing on it.
It has all the Markings, manufactured by Carl Eickhorn, stamped with the crown and 17.
I tried my best with the pictures to show everything as detailed as possible, but there is no sunlight at all today so...
Would like to hear your opinion about it.
    Regards,
    Emanuil.

Agree. A great looking piece. Would not want to be on the receiving end of that blade!

Congrats on a great pick up.

I can understand how you feel! Its an iconic blade, and in my opinion the best looking WW1 German Bayonet.
I liked this one a lot, even before i knew that this particular one is not common.
