WW1 German Mauser Bayonet

I recently purchased this bayonet which i thought i would share on here. It was purchased from an chap who got it from a WW1 soldier he worked with in the 60's. It is dated on the blade W 16 and is made by Alex Coppel - Solingen. There is also a serial? number 1942.
