Not sure where to post this.

I'm looking for any information about this knife, I've done some research and have been unable to find anything about how/when it was made/used.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

It is apparently a one-off, perhaps considered "trench art" if you prefer. My dad was in the US Navy and they made knives one off like that, often stacking pieces of plexiglass with paint on ends of each segment, as a pastime. They would paint the pieces of plexi and then shape it to the proper shape for a handle on the blades. Polish it up for best transparency except for the paint between stacked segments which gave it an interesting effect. If you have no context or provenance for the knife, I am afraid then, the origins are lost in history. Have any clue about the things origins or original owner?
