    Thats a Model 1874 TURK sword bayonet , the handles have been replaced and the lock is missing, so probably used as a sidearm

    These were made by the Providence Tool Company , Providence, Rhode Island for the Turkish Government.

    these were one of the heaviest Yataghan sword bayonets made, they originally had pressed checkered leather grips and a leather scabbard with metal fittings.

    like he say Turkish M1874 bayonet,wood on handles are not original,
