    Here is a new acquisition of mine, a 1957-version Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen [General Assault Badge].

    From the hingeblock/catch/pin assembly, and the presence of the "o" mark, I understand that this is a 1960s-production piece from Steinhauer & Lück.

    Absolutely correct ! early mid production around 1960, first tapered pin and closed hinge assembly.....a nice badge

    Still fairly new to collecting 1957er decorations, I'll be the first one to admit that I am still very much learning here, and a lot of what I know so far, I have learned from the two of you!
