1957er Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Bronze

Here is my latest acquisition: A 1957er Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Bronze [Infantry Assault Badge in Bronze]. Awarded to personnel of motorized Grenadier- and Füsilier Regiments, these are far less common than the silver badges.

The IAB in bronze is very hard to find in 57 version, so you did very good in finding a closed hinge block. I'm still looking for an St&L myself.

I love the way the texture of the leaves and acorns pop out at you against the smooth border outlines in the bronze award. Can't be seen as well in the silver.
