    Ingrid, nice 57er ! it is a St u L...made after 1968, evident by the open hinge assembly, as shown neatly on photo 4, is the core magnetic ? it was sometime in the early 1970's that they switched to non magnetic.....by the way, only the very early EK's (1957-58) are marked, as they used up existing wartime parts that were marked up, pins, backing plates and suspension rings (EK II).
