    Hi,

    the Gebirgsjäger Tunic can have the Patch from the "Gebirgs und Winterkampfschule"[IMG][/IMG].
    and the Tunic can have the Patch "Heimatschutzbrigade 56"[IMG][/IMG].
    The Heimatschutzbrigade 56 was temporarily placed under the 1.Gebirgsdivision.

    I have a friend that is a Bundeswehr Gebirgsjager who is now stationed in Gebirgsjager Headquarters, Berchtesgaden, Germany. See the photo of his left uniform shoulder, that shows his unit insignia patch, with the German National Eagle "Wehrbereichskommando" (Military District Command) when he was stationed in German Headquarters in Washington DC, USA.
