Tony......Is this set of memorabilia from one man ? if so,do you have any provenance..... What is the blue book ?
Prost ! Steve.
G'day oradour,
Haven't recieved it yet, git the items thru klaus butscheck who found them in Regensburg. They all belong to the same person, bought from the family.....not sure what the book is though...
if you could get a closer image of the blue book i could probably tell you what it is.
the large print (the only which i can read) says "statutes".
Once I get in hand I'll get closer pics, is does look like a pocket sized " rule book...
One of the caps has the soldiers name in it, and the glass negative shows a wound badge, who knows it could be the one that is included!!
Nice pickup mate. I also like the negative....

here is a pic of the named cap....all these are the dealers pics
Thanks Eric...
The glass negative is really nice, shows him in his Afrika Korps uniform....he had service in the RAD, then the Heer and finaly the bundeswher....shame the family didn't want to keep it. But it will be well looked after
Has this arrived down under yet Tony?
Nice little grouping.
Cheers, Ade.

It arrived 2 days ago, will get pics up today...
Going by the date ranges on the caps I believe this to be a family grouping...the named cap im assuming is dated 1976, so I'm thinking his son?
The booklet is a Veterans association rule book dated 1925... So again I am assuming his father
Klaus also threw in a Kurvenmesser....what a ingenious little item....wish I had one whn I was a soldier...a lot easier than using peices of paper and string to measure distance on a mp!
