BGS M35/53 helmet

Article about: just to proudly show my latest helmet and one off my tick list ,the west german bundesgrenzschutz helmet this one has no visible liner rivits or air vents as found on the TR period m35 this

    Hi, mates !

    I´m not collecting helmets chiefly, but, to buy an "BGS M53" was a must !
    The pot was pretty worn actually, but, I enjoy that !

    BTW, AFAIK, this pattern helmet was termed due to the liner, ("Innenausstattung 53").

    I really like the napped, (buffed), dark green surface of the lid.

    The helmet´s showin´ air vents !
