Although this latest addition to my small family of Iron Crosses is a post-WWII 1939 EK, it is not a 1957er award: I just found myself a "blank core" EK II as made by Rudolf Souval for Austrian veterans.

Very interesting iron cross. When I saw that blank core crosses for the first time I thought they are copies of original iron cross from 1813. Great find.

    Best regards,
    Franko

Whoa, great find Andreas! Not much of a Souval fan, but there is something "majestic" about these blank cores I really like.

    Regards,
    Nick
