    Default Bundeswehr Greatcoat

Hi all. Literally just picked this up from the local charity shop, paid £15 which I think is an OK price? Overall it seems to be pretty minty and I like the fact that it has insignia, which I think is for 3 Corps. Looks like it is dated 1965. Would this sort of thing have been used for parade or officers? It just seems to be very good quality is all. Any further info is welcome. Cheers.

Spitace41, Army other ranks/NCO great coat, from as you say III Korps (Koblenz 1956-1994) see here for more information

It is missing its shoulder straps.....worn as a coat at anytime during duty, not specifically for special occasions. £15 +/- about right for these items.
    Prost ! Steve.
