    Hi all.

I bought this today at a local antiques market.

A bit rough on the outside, but very clean on the inside.
I don't know anything about gas masks really, But I think this is post war. Is this correct?
I see no date, but it is named to gftr Schmitt.

I don't like to talk prices on the forum, but I might move it on to fund my collection.
    Ballpark figure?

    Cheers,

    Brian.

West German gasmask and canister...from the 1960s I believe...before they began using the rubberized bags...
Unissued as well, I'd guess around $45 ...others may have different opinions of course...

    Thanks for the info Glenn.

It's always good to come across items when you least expect them.

I might be interested in that if you're selling, I have a nice clean tin and a mask to go with it would be good, I'd have a spare tin then as well.
