    Hey,
unfortunately my grandpa passed away Last year.
While cleaning His Appartement I found These silber Cups,
Most of them stamped 800 silber,
Now I'm Wondering, what the engravings could mean...
I think that Mat A BW II C could be a Material Division or Something Like that,
But the cups with "vR" and "USD" are a mystery to me.
I would Love to get some infos in These Items 😀
    Mit kameradschaftlichen Grüßen!

They are for schnapps, not sure what the markings denote though. Sorry for the loss of your Grandfather.

Yes, thank you, it was a great loss for me, He was a great man, Born
In Silesia in 1918 (!), then RAD, Luftwaffe Flak gunner in Stalingrad, POW in russia til 1953 (!!)
And after His return He joined the early Bundeswehr.
He will ever stay in my mind, as a highly respected but lovely grandpa!!
I hate myself for Not asking him what the shortterms in the silber Cups mean.
Maybe someone recognizes any of 'em, you would help me a Lot!!

Nice items. Will be hard to ID the three with just initials. Hopefully someone will be able to help with the unit marked one.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
