    hello lads
    new set a grouping of berets to a panzerman he was the driver ive also got some pictures of him in the 60s oddly i bought the 2 soft beret,early black and late black then asked if he had anything else to do with the bw and hes sending me a free his hard beret which is rather nice i will add the photo he sent me

    the hard beret is 63 dated and the soft ones are 62 and 63 its good to know the history i think

    ps the rk is a replica (until i can afford a proper one only 2 on ebay)

    a small bit of history Hans joined the bw in 1960 in the panzer corp (following his father who had been a leutenant in the panzer during the war) he stayed in the bw receiveing the berets shown above until in 2001 he retired as a hamptfeldwebel a rather nice grouping imhoand im dead chuffed

    Nice grouping Tom Love thoes hard berets it is awsome to be able to tie the history of an item with it's previous owner or family .
