Very nice for someone who doesn't collect them, lol! I've been thinking about adding a Bundesverdienstkreuz I Klasse to my collection as well...

The five piece 57er medal bar is a fake......yes folks even 57ers are suffering the same fate as their TR brothers, it is the work of Austrian Alfred Vollmost (ebay user-name legionaer-vienna) prolific faker of bars, even the awards are fake that he uses to construct his bars.............see here Dont Bid On This!!! - Wehrmacht-Awards.com Militaria Forums and here SS 4 Year LS Medal on Bar - Page 2 - Wehrmacht-Awards.com Militaria Forums the first link is actually about this bar, empiresfist I would return asap !!
I would like to see a separate thread on your RK, and rear images of the ribbon bars .........On a plus note the Bundesverdienstkreuz I Klasse looks to be a St u L 1970's piece.
    Prost ! Steve.
