Thumbs up Keep up the good work!

    Hi guys,

I do not collect Bundeswehr and never will for personal reasons (and prejudices I must admit), but I must say that this area of collecting deserves its own section on the forum - because of its historical significance.

Steve (oradour) has done an amazing job at running/starting up this sub-forum - the fact that I who do not have a collector's interest in the Bundeswehr actually find it interesting to read through some of the threads here testifies to that.

Who knows where this field of collecting will be in 20 years time and besides I must admit I envy you guys in a way when I compare the price of a Bundeswehr tunic and a Wehrmacht tunic...!

I certainly hope that this Bundeswehr forum will become the resource for this area of collecting in the time to come. I probably never will understand your fascination for the Bundeswehr as a collector - but I wanted to tell you all (especially Steve) to keep up the good work!

    Regards,

    Kenneth S-H.
The conduct of collecting and studying historical artifacts is an art, a free, creative activity depending upon a scholarly foundation.

It places the highest requirements on the personality.

    Thanks Kenneth. Much appreciated.

I had the pleasure of meeting Steve today for the first time. Had a very enjoyable time. He should have some goodies to show from his trip to Derbyshire.

    Cheers, Ade.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Kenneth...as Ade states, I spent the day in the company of himself and his good lady Lez, had a great time and picked up some items, I hope will stir some interest into the sub forum from you TR guys.....some 1950's Splintertarn, for your perusal.
Prost ! to all fellow collectors, what ever your bag....we are all in the same boat, just different time lines ! Steve.
