Gentlemen...if you want one....ten of these ponchos have just come on to e-bay at £14.99 each ! heres the link Wet Weather Poncho German Boarder Guard Army Bundesgrenzsch Vintage RARE NEW | eBay Apparently, they were not particulary popular with BGS personal, as they prefered the newly (at the time) introduced parka that gave more weather protection and warmth. there must be stacks of these ponchos out there, most if not all, in extremly good condition because of this ! I show the photo on the e-bay page...looks to be from the same seller as yours Tom, but he has put his prices up, probably seen this thread !..... Prost ! Steve.
