    Ok, so after finding the Bundeswehr tunic on flea-bay with it's tampered with decorations, a fellow forum member and I came to an agreement of sale, whereby I will take ownership of this tunic and visor cap.
    The visor cap;

    I am glad he was willing to sell these as they come from his time of service. Also a relief knowing they are original and complete. Better than paying for some spruced up tunic where they didn't even get the decorations right!

    Isken, which the cap guru wisely wrote made no caps in the III. Reich, save for the few SS caps I own from the same firm.

    As I wrote elsewhere, I think the Bw things are a fine field to collect, even if the shades of grey of the Bw may not hold quite the same allure
    as for some of field grey or whatever.This one is a proper item.

    I also like that I will know the name of the owner of these pieces. It gives the linkage I enjoy with such things.
