How does this detailing ( also on rear ) compare to originals Steve?

The design of the St u L PLM is unique.....it is obviously the same design as set down by Imperial mint as all other makers of the PLM, but with their (St u L) idiosyncrasies, as with any award little things tweaked here and there allow us to I.D. one maker to another.........check out the images of originals here Orden Pour le Mérite click on "The medal" and search the photo gallery..and you will know what I mean.
St u L did not make the PLM during the Kaisers rule, infact there is debate amongst collectors wether they made them upto and including WW2....!
