Shirmmutze Kommander Der Schutzpolizei ?

I have had this Shirmmutze in my collection for some time now but I always have a problem researching them as best I can tell it is for the Chief of Police for West Berlin with any luck some one will be able to verify that for me .
It is a nice early cap and is dated for the 7 month of 1976 and was manufactured by Albert Kempth K.G. for the most part it is still in quite good condition but does show some crazing and what would appear to be a couple of small impacts to the visor and a couple of small scuff marks on the cap badge any help with the identification would be greatly appreciated thanks for looking.
