Gents, a BGS or Police cloth service belt, very similar to early BW belt, in green ribbed material with green metal fittings......with rear hanger attached, some say radio belt, but it does not and never had the front piece/clip attached, which were normally in place on such belts, when purchased the seller said it was an experimental paratrooper belt, however no evidence to substantiate that claim..........any one see such a belt as is ?
    Prost ! Steve.

Sorry for making my first post a necropost, but I ran into this through a Google search and saw nobody responded. In case anybody is still curious...

This is a belt for the FuG 6 KL 9 radio. What is almost always missing is the shoulder strap which connects to the battery pack on the belt, goes over the shoulder, and connects to the D ring. The strap has a clip for the radio. Here is a great reference for the system:

FuG 6 KL 9 TRX Lorenz; Berlin, Zuffenhausen u.a., build 1955

These radios were standard with the disaster response units in the 1950s and 1960s, but also some Polizei use and even some documented use by BGS. The belt is, therefore, government issued but not specific to any individual government agency. There is no documented use of it by the Bundeswehr that I know of. Certainly the story that this is a FJ experimental belt is a fantasy tale.
