"Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/42" 57'er

Thanks to member Nick Hessens, I was able to aquire what I believe is the last one that I will be able to get to complete my grouping of 57'er awards to match the ones that I have from my father's service. I don't believe that they made a post war Hitler Youth proficiency award so I will not be able to fill that "hole" in my display.

Almost all of the silvering is still there.
I believe that the general consensus that this one is made by St. & L.

The way I understand the laws governing the manufacture of 57er's you are correct about the HJ badges.

But what a fantastic way to honor your fathers service.
