    Hi, just thought I would post some pictures of my cloth cap, maybe bit faded but still in lovely condition. Nice red lining, no rips or real damage to it . Caps are not my thing really, Could the collectors of such items give me an idea of value on this cap???. Thanks. Steve

    Not an issue Luftwaffe Tropical cap, they only ever came with cloth insignia. The cap itself is an odd one, looks to be "foreign" fabric, French or Italian perhaps. The very rusty grommets are more typical of SS caps which all things considered makes me think this is either a field made example or a fake. The pith eagle is a fake so I think it is all probably fake I am sorry to say so value is about 50 bucks to a renenactor perhaps.
