Article about: Another intresting item that i got some good vibes from when i visited the antique store here in Crete is this nice cap... It looks good to me but i'm not the guy to tell for sure if it's ok

    Another intresting item that i got some good vibes from when i visited the antique store here in Crete is this nice cap... It looks good to me but i'm not the guy to tell for sure if it's ok so i toss it to you headgear sharks out there!

    IMO it looks like some other insignia was removed around were the eagle is sewn. Is that brown/tan thread I see? Also the hat seems brighter in color. So the eagle is well worn that appears to be consistent but reapplied. Wait for the experts...just my two cents...

    And to me. The rusty grommets are not correct as they should be made of zinc. A close up of the inside of them would tell all.

    Nice!!!! When i visit the store again i'll take some pics of the inside grommets view ! Tell me what exactly you would like to see to determine it's whereabouts!

    Hi Lizardking.

    It's a very good bet, if Ben says "it's a fake!" then it IS a fake.

    It has been stated that there are problems with the grommets and the insignia appears to have been replaced/changed.
