The piping looks nothing like the quality of that found on an original cap. The shape is incorrect. Sweatband is poorly fitted. The cap material is incorrect. A poor attempt to mimic an original b;acl cap. As a clarification, the black cap is not exclusive to the Allgemeine SS and it is incorrect to refer to one as such.

This is one of those Carl Derwig fakes from the 90's. They made NSDAP, Political, Heer and LW visors. The scam artists know that the jig is up on these, so they are now ripping out the tell-tale sweatdiamond or using nail polish to remove the logo. They are all exactly the same in construction. Just junk.

I revived this old thread because of this visor I came across. I must say the exterior looks fairly convincing but the interior not so much. A 90's Carl Derwig fake I presume
