The insignia and stamps are fake , as is the interior and the cap construction itself is not of original design

John, check Friedrich-Bertholds threads on the SS forum--he goes into exquisite detail on these black caps.

As Chris said, the SS forum right here has got more photos of orginal black caps than anywhere else on the internet so there really is no excuse for not knowing this particular piece of garbage is fake.
