Cap looks fine, sweatband may be re-sewn.
Maybe just the flash, but it looks like signals yellow.

    So what is it worth?
And are you saying it is a Signal Corps hat?
Forgive my ignorance I am not well versed in German caps.

At the risk of being argumentative, I see Goldgelb here. An issue cavalry Tellermuetze, contract cap as found in the clothing quartermaster stores.
    damit, basta.

Assuming that the cap is actually cavalry golden yellow, and not signals bright lemon yellow, I would say value is the $ 500-600 range, depending upon condition.
It's an issue quality cap, not from a private maker, so that affects the price.
