    Ladies and Gentlemen,

found this long ago at a second hand dealer's. It was cheap, so I took it. There are no insignia. Saw a similar one with insignia at an auction house described as DAF-cap. Never seen a DAF cap with light blue piping, however. Any ideas?

Wim would be the best to address this cap.
Could be NSKOV, but I would expect it to have chincords.
See post 13 in this thread:

Thank you Stonemint for your prompt reply. NSKOV is indeed more likely than DAF, thanks for the link! Mine seems to be a late war specimen, perhaps the date of manufacture explains the piping.

It's a NSKOV visored cap according to the 1940 regulations
The light-blue piping is mentioned in Uniformenmarkt No. 19 from October 1st. 1940.... "Hellblaue Paspel" = light blue piping

This information can also be found in "Headgear Of Hitler's Germany" Vol. 2 , page 301

Thank you Theo for the identification! Don't know what I paid for it but not more than what corresponds to 10 USD. No too bad a deal then.

Right you are with Wim's vol. 2 which I own, should/could have noticed it.
