    Unless I am very much mistaken, this is the exact same cap as seen in post # 52 of your thread on "BRD/DDR-Civil/Political Visor Poseurs".

    Compare the scratches on the visor, the "G." monogram next to the sweatshield etc.:

    Thank you for your help ,it's at a local antique shop. I thought the insignia was placed too low myself , and it reminded me of a visor I had sold a couple months ago. But I wasn't a 100 percent certain so I thought I'd ask

    how do you tell the post war production of theses visors , I know the rounded diamond of the postwar East Germans . But how would I tell on this one , as I thought by the liner this was a ww'2 visor with bad insignia
