Early SS kepi, what do you think guys?

I can buy a great early SS Kepi
it seems to be an original as far as i can tell.
Please tell me what you think about this one, because it's a lot of money

the sides of the kepi lining are filled so i was a comfortable kepi to wear.
it has the right maker mark and a "wasserschutz" lining on top.
the sweatband has a mark: Deutsche Industrie

I really hope im wrong but something is ringing alarm bells for me, and i cant put my finger on it,it looks in unused condition except for the metal insignia, als o , and ill be corrected if wrong but im not sure these had a nylon bow in the rear. I hope other more knowlegable members will comment as if its real then i would think you have a very nice kepi

hi davejb i have seen pictures in a book about SS & SA of a SA kepi from the same period with exactly the same bow en exactly the same maker mark and the same material where its printed on, top is rainproof.
the way the sweatband is connected is superb, with a string , ends are visual,
it is not in mint condition it has wear on the visor and on the top, but its not that visual.

Well Gerrit, as i said im not 100% knowlegable on these i just had that niggling feeling that i couldnt shift, but you have seen it in person and i hope its the real deal i hope the experts like FB , Bill Grist and Bob Coleman can get to see it, im also sure that Ade will have a look at this

These are extremely rare. Tread very carefully. I'm kind of with DaveJB on this, my gut says repro. Just my opinion and I am certainly not an expert. Hopefully some of the experienced early SS collectors will see it and chime in.

Well Ade, thx for the reply but i dont know why you dont know this maker, it's a well known one in the SA & SS kepi's is documented as well, please reconsider and take a honest look.
this collector is a very serious one and has a large collection, build it over more then 30 years.
