well good to know!!! guess it will make a good halloween costume!!!!!
Sadly nothing original here. This will most likely have been made by the German firm of Janke. It is not a bad copy as copies go. There are far worse out there!
Cheers, Ade.
At least it was given to you. You can at least use it as a filler until you find/buy the real thing one day.
i dont know if will ever buy a real one,$$$$... im trying to focus on the youth stuff and all of the womans groups, trying is the key word here
Well my friend, focus is the greatest thing to have in this hobby. I try to keep myself at least 95% police. I feel I have a nice collection because I have chosen to remain focused. You may not be able to afford everything you want today, but stay true to your collecting plan and you will wake up amazed one day at your collection. I think this year was that year for me, and yours will come way sooner than you think.
Good luck, and do not forget to use the experts on this site!

Focus is one of the best things you can do in this hobby. Some focus by organisation, others by a specific type of militaria (ie, medals, daggers, or in my case, visors). The great thing about "focus" is that others are also focused in their specific areas, so if you want to cross-over (or "dabble", as I call it) there is always someone who can help. Just make sure you check with the relevant specialists before buying--I have seen too many buy and then check, and believe me, it does not feel good to tell someone they just spent $5,000 on a fake.
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
it's a german modern repro
