It is a 'Bundeswehr' cap with a WWII era roundel.

I hope the seller is not passing them off as original Third Reich
period caps ! ( Is this a pawn shop you are browsing through
or an antique mall/market ? )

Hey walkwolf, this guy owns an antique store downtown.Sometimes he has good stuff, sometimes he doesnt. I think he kinda plays dumb claiming he thinks they're real when in fact he knows otherwise.

One slight correction: Steve is right about it being post war but it is not Bundeswehr but came from the other side of the Wall. It is East German, note the "NVA", Nationale Volksarmee, marking to the sweatsheild.
