It is a common Ebay repro with poor artificial aging.

As an aside, apart from that, ignore any description that states that what is being offered is a "U-Boat" cap. There is no such thing. The same Visor cap was used by all KM ships officers. White tops were intended for summer use and whilst white covers were commonly worn by U-Boat commanders, that was just a fashion and only permitted when at sea. On returning to port, even the commanders were to revert to the regular blue top.
Unless a cap has definitive provenance linking it directly to a U-Boat officer, it is simply a KM Visor cap with a white cover.

To be fair, given the price he is asking is only around 10% of the price of a verified white top with U-Boat provenance, it doesn't seem it was a serious attempt to sell it as genuine especially as it is amongst a whole load of other repro stuff.
