mdk220, i can strongly recommend Brian L Davies book 'Uniforms of the German Army', it is the first book a novice should buy, it will be your bible for the first few years.
thank you - I will - Would there be a problem if after i buy this book to still post threads as you all are experts?
I want to make sure my money is well spent.
thanks again
mike k
mdk220, there are no such thing as experts, we are constantly being educated....in our field of speciality, for sure ask...but self educate, so you can advise one day....you must have a good library for coroboration at the very least...that is my and i suspect the advice of many.
Oradour - I totally agree and I just purchased the book you mentioned. I do have a local friend who works at a gun/collector shop and I ask him for advice too. I agree knowledge is best but sometimes I still like someone to look at.
thanks again for your help
mdk220, it is not my intention to bemoan...but to advise, good luck.
Book, books and more books. You will not go wrong Brian's book is still the "Bible". It will give you a basic understanding of the Heer. I still refer to it today 30 odd years on.
The cap is good. A late production example.
Cheers, Ade.

from the seller. tell me what you all think - this guy is mad and from lativa

Stand your ground and get your refunds. This is typical bluster from a bad seller.
Cheers, Ade.
