Is it a 1st pattern cockade ?
The base looks light grey to me rather than Feldgrau...
If that's the case, it would be rather weird for a 1942 dated Feldmütze.
Also wondering if both small white stitchings above the cockade are original or postwar done (in case the cockade would be a replacement)...
