Heer Panzer Feldmütze: opinions please

Wanted to get opinions on this cap. I am new to this area and looking for some help! Thank you in advance for your opinion!

Well i'm not an expert, but it looks odd to me. The chevron looks a funny sort of pink and hadn't they stopped putting waffenfarbe chevrons on caps by 1942? also the markings don't look typical. I will be interested to see what others have to say.

Hi Sam

Not my main area of experise but I would approach this one with caution.

Several reasons: no air holes or grommets in place, the colour of the piping is wrong (this may be the light of the photo but looks more red than pink), application of the insignia, lago stamp looks kinda new

.........I don't get a good feel for it.
