Default Help to ID and authenticate SS Black peaked cap, no piping

    Hello everyone,

A friend has asked me to help ID and sell a black SS officer cap he has. it does not glow under a balck light and the eagle and sklull have RZM labels and numbers
    Eagle: M1/52
    Skull: M1/52
paper RZM tag on inside of cap is dated 6 Mai 1942
There are 2 very faint circular stamps on the blue lining.
    1. has the SS lightning bolts
    2. german eagle
The outisde has no piping aand there are oak leaves going around the brim
The name is on the inside but is hard to make out: SS Vija Muller 52 1/2?
sweat band is gray leather, very thin and torn in a few placesfrom when it was turned inside out.
I believe the buttons (stamped A.W.S.) could have been replaced as well as the silver cord.
    All else looks original
hat and interior lining and thread do not glow under blacklight.
    Any idea of value?

    Thanks,

    Mike

A terrible fake...not even close to an original...

A post-war civilian cap (perhaps from a veteran's league) with fake badges, labels and stamps.

It would appear to be either an original veteran's cap made to look like an SS, or a fake veteran's cap made to look like an SS.
Either way, not an SS cap.

I cannot add to HPL2008's description and assessment.

I agree with all the above comments - It is a very sad looking cap.........
